Frequently Asked Questions

When is it safe to go ice fishing?

Experts will always tell you that no ice is perfectly safe. This is why we work with local professional guides to get our gear-and most importantly YOU, on safe ice roads. Ice road tickets are around $20 a day depending on the guide. He/she may also help “put you on the fish,” as best they can. In general, January-March are the most popular ice fishing months.

Can I cancel due to winter weather?

We understand that travel plans can get messed up in northern Minnesota weather. We do our best to get you re-booked without any additional fees or penalties. You can also buy trip insurance at check out..

Can I park a camper by my cabin for family to stay in?

Yes! This is a very common request. The only things we have to be strict on here: Space: Make sure you have a large open and fairly level place for the camper. Look at the dimensions to see if the camper fits. Power: 30 amp power is required! If you do not have this, you must rent a generator to protect electrical systems.

Can I take my rental out of state?

Yes! We have several rigs that we allow on longer journeys. Mileage fees may apply.

When is check in/out?

Summer rentals start at 4 pm or after and must be returned by noon on check out day. We require this due to same day turnaround and needing time to clean/sanitize. If you need your rental first thing the next day, we can offer you a discount on the night before so you can guarantee your rental is available.

Do you allow pets?

We allow well traveled pets and do charge a pet fee, because you know pets = more cleaning, we hope you understand.

Can I get the RV delivered? If so, what is included in that?

Yes! We can deliver, based on availability within 30 miles of Lake George, MN. This includes delivery, set up, take down and dumping of the tanks upon return.
